Qualderm Partners in Pinehurst, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with providers to support patient care and help keep the practice running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, MA certification is preferred, and prior clinical experience is highly desirable. Strong dermatology terminology knowledge, excellent communication, and EHR proficiency are important.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do

As a Dermatology Medical Assistant, you will work closely with our providers and play an essential role in delivering excellent patient care while keeping the practice running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing patients for examinations by recording vital signs and medical histories
• Assisting providers during examinations and procedures
• Preparing instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms
• Conducting basic laboratory tests and handling specimens for analysis
• Maintaining accurate, confidential patient records
• Coordinating patient scheduling and office communications
• Educating patients about treatments, medications, and appropriate skincare
• Keeping examination rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked
