Job summary

QualDerm Partners LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support physicians and staff, handling prescription processing, inventory, and customer service from a high-volume retail setting. You will work under physician supervision, ensure accurate dispensing and patient records, and assist with insurance verifications and billing.

Qualifications include an active state license or registration and 2–4 years of retail pharmacy experience.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license, registration, or certification where required.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment, dispensing workflows and inventory management.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations and billing processes.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to handle inquiries.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; capable of multi-priority work.
• Proficiency with pharmacy software and EHR platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exemplary service while maintaining confidentiality.
• Direct contact with third parties to resolve insurance issues.
• Prepare medications by counting, labeling, and restocking.
• Calculate and measure medications; verify prescriptions.
• Support fulfillment processes and prescription center tasks.
• Ensure accurate flow and documentation of prescription fulfillment.
• Maintain patient profiles and process insurance forms.
• Maintain drug and supply levels; ensure QA and compliance.
• Complete paperwork and generate routine reports; assist with ad hoc projects.
