Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist physicians and staff in a dermatology-focused prescription center. You will prepare medications, handle prescriptions, verify insurance, and maintain patient records while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires an active license, 2–4 years of retail pharmacy experience, and proficiency with pharmacy management systems and EHR platforms.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in the applicable state at hire.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment, workflows and inventory management.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and billing processes.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and EHR platforms.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work collaboratively with providers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet prescription center customers and provide exemplary service while maintaining confidentiality.
• Direct contact with third parties to resolve insurance issues.
• Prepare prescribed medications by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and restocking inventory.
• Calculate and measure medication accurately.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in fulfillment and prescription center support responsibilities.
• Ensure proper flow and documentation of prescription fulfillment.
• Maintain patient profiles/records and prepare insurance forms.
• Maintain appropriate drug and supply levels.
• Maintain QA standards and required documentation.
• Complete prescription center paperwork and monthly reports.
• Complete additional projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
