Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a high-volume retail prescription center. You will assist physicians, prep medications, verify prescriptions, and manage patient profiles under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and timely service.

The position requires a valid state Pharmacy Technician license, and 2–4 years of experience in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency with pharmacy software and EHR is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacy Technician license, registration, or certification in the applicable state at the time of hire.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or equivalent) preferred.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment, medication dispensing workflows, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and pharmacy billing processes.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively assist patients and address inquiries.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and electronic health record (EHR) platforms.

Responsibilities

• Greet prescription center customers and provide exemplary service while protecting confidentiality.
• Direct contact with third parties to resolve insurance issues.
• Prepare medications by counting, labeling, and restocking inventory.
• Calculate and measure medication accurately.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure correct dispensing.
• Support fulfillment processes and related paperwork and reports.
• Maintain patient profiles and insurance forms with accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure quality QA standards.
