Job summary
QualDerm Partners is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support physicians and staff in the prescription center. You will prepare medications, verify prescriptions, manage inventory and patient records while handling insurance forms and customer service in a fast-paced dermatology-focused environment.
Required active license/registration, 2–4 years in retail pharmacy, and proficiency with pharmacy management systems.
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in the applicable state at time of hire.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
- Experience with prescription fulfillment, medication dispensing workflows, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, prior authorizations, and pharmacy billing processes.
- Strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and EHR platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacy staff to ensure positive patient experiences.
- Prepare prescribed medications by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and restocking.
- Maintain patient profiles and insurance forms.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage inventory and ensure accuracy in dispensing and billing.
