Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology seeks a Part-Time Patient Coordinator for our Norwich Office. The role provides front-office support to patients, providers, and staff, with prior healthcare experience required. Strong computer and EMR skills are essential to manage calls, scheduling, and patient flow.

Schedule is part-time, under 30 hours weekly, with Monday–Friday hours and rotating Saturdays within 7am–7pm. The position offers competitive hourly pay and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relations and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and dedicated employee.
• Prefer prior experience in dermatology/medical environment.
• Open availability weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming calls, scheduling tasks and online leads promptly and professionally.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere to enhance patient care.
• Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stock supplies as requested.
• Attend in-house training and continuing education opportunities.
