Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology PLLC is seeking a Part Time Patient Coordinator for our Syracuse Office. The role provides front office support to patients, providers, and staff, with previous healthcare experience required.

Schedule: Part time, less than 30 hours per week, with availability Monday through Friday and rotating Saturdays within operating hours. Open flexibility to join a team environment is needed.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical Receptionist Experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
• Must be professional, reliable and dedicated employee.
• Prefer prior experience working in a dermatology / medical environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming phone calls and scheduling-related tasks in a timely and knowledgeable fashion.
• Create a positive phone call experience for each caller and promote a welcoming atmosphere for patients.
• Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate provider’s next steps.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend in-house training and continued education opportunities.
