Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Medical Assistant with Mohs histology experience to ensure regulatory compliance and quality control. You will prepare tissues, stains, perform frozen sections, and maintain meticulous records and equipment logs under the Mohs surgeon supervision.

You will support surgical photography, post-operative follow-up, and training activities, while ensuring patient care aligns with Providence’s service standards and patient experience model.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills including vital signs, injections, and medication administration.
• Hands-on clinical training in a licensed setting.
• ASCP BOC HT/HTL certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate cryostat and histology equipment per Washington State DOH standards.
• Prepare stains, solutions, and tissue specimens; perform frozen sectioning.
• Maintain records, logs, and inventory; assist Mohs surgeon with procedural support.
