Ganger Dermatology in Novi, MI is seeking an entry-level Medical Assistant/Scribe. This role supports providers, manages patient flow, documents medical histories, and educates patients in a dynamic dermatology practice.

The position offers hands-on experience, exposure to an electronic health record system, and opportunities for growth within a dedicated team focused on patient care and efficiency. Flexible shifts and a supportive, collaborative environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow in waiting and exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination by collecting health histories and updating records.
• Assist providers with documenting and verifying patient information in the EHR.
• Communicate patient concerns effectively to the healthcare provider.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist with routine clerical tasks such as updating medical records, authorizations, and billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and exam rooms.
• Assist in medical procedures such as surgeries, blood draws, and suture removal as needed.
