Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient flow in waiting and exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination by collecting health histories and updating records.
• Assist providers with documenting and verifying patient information in the EHR.
• Communicate patient concerns effectively to the healthcare provider.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist with routine clerical tasks such as updating medical records, authorizations, and billing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and exam rooms.
• Assist in medical procedures such as surgeries, blood draws, and suture removal as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure a seamless patient flow, both in the waiting room and exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examination by physicians, collecting health histories, and updating records as required.
• Assist providers with documenting, processing, and verifying patient information in our Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Communicate patient concerns and needs effectively to the healthcare provider.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist with routine clerical tasks such as updating medical records, obtaining authorizations, and billing.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to urgent/emergent situations following protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, exam rooms, and supplies.
• Answer patient questions and alleviate anxieties when necessary.
• Ensure optimal patient satisfaction, provider efficiency, and treatment room utilization.
• Adhere to patient, employee, and clinic confidentiality guidelines (HIPAA).
• Follow established policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Assist in medical procedures such as surgeries, blood draws, suture removal, etc…

Job Type:

• Full-Time: 3-4 days per week
• Dayshift: 8-10 hour shifts, Monday-Friday, and occasional Saturdays and evenings

Please note: While you will be assigned a home office, this position requires the ability to be assigned shifts at other locations for coverage purposes. Saturday availability is also required. Work expectation is 40h/week with overtime as needed.This is a full time position and we are not offering seasonal employment at this time.
