Job summary

Cleaver Dermatology & Aesthetics is seeking a motivated Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing practice. You will assist providers in medical and procedural dermatology, scribing, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining sterile instruments in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has experience with scribing and electronic health records, a detail-oriented approach, and a compassionate bedside manner to support patient care and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with scribing and electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Scribe in real time during patient visits in the EHR.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, update medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist with dermatology procedures including biopsies.
• Maintain sterile technique and instrument setup.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Manage prior authorizations and follow-up tasks.
