Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Flower Mound, TX seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced dermatology practice. You will escort patients, collect histories, scribe notes, assist with biopsies, prepare specimens, and help with follow-ups.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a medical office, plus scribing experience; dermatology/cosmetic exposure is preferred. Strong communication, professional appearance, and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

Must have 2-3 years of experience working in a medical office as a medical assistant.
Prior Scribing experience is required or preferred.
Familiarity with dermatology/cosmetic procedures is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to and from the exam room and prepare the patient for examination.
Enter complete medical histories and current medications into the chart.
Assist the Physician/Provider by scribing notes in the medical record.
Set up biopsies, excisions, suture removals, and cosmetic procedures.
Prepare and collect path/lab specimens and schedule follow-ups.
Daily cleaning, organization of exam rooms, and stocking.
Maintain laboratory instruments and perform basic upkeep.
