Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Dermatology team in Downers Grove (IL) with coverage across related sites as needed. You will greet patients, assist in examinations and first aid procedures, and support physicians during visits.

Travel to other local clinics may be required. Qualifications include a Medical Assistant program or health sciences coursework, High school diploma, and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher health sciences courses required.
• Active medical assistant certification through AMT, NCCT, NHA, ARMA or AAMA required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire.
• Prior experience as MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years in a medical office assisting with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, vital signs, and health history collection.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
• Assist with immunizations or injections where applicable.
• Process prescriptions, pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, and chart updates.
• Perform onsite lab tests such as EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, welcoming exam rooms and deliver excellent customer service.
