Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology and/or plastic surgery procedures across multiple Illinois clinics, including Crest Hill, Morris, and New Lenox. You will greet patients, record vitals, assist with procedures, and manage documentation, ensuring a smooth, patient-centered flow.

Required are at least 1 year in a medical office, and pursuit of a CDT designation. Familiarity with EMR systems and basic lab tasks is a plus; some travel is necessary to cover

Qualifications

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office or similar clinical setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain Certified Dermatology Technician (CDT) designation within the established timeframe.
• Maintains all required state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations as a condition of employment.

Responsabilités

• Greet and room patients, collect and document vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
• Review medication list and ensure a preferred pharmacy is captured to support e-prescribing workflow.
• Complete MIPS documentation requirements.
• Assist with scribing and body area documentation to produce preliminary encounter notes.
• Prepare patients for dermatological procedures, such as biopsies and phototherapy.
• Assist Clinicians during procedures by handing instruments and documenting notes in the EMR.
• Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide reassurance.
