Southeastern Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our medical providers and enhance patient care. The role involves preparing patients, documenting histories, taking vitals, and assisting with procedures in a clinical setting.

Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or GED, medical assistant certification, and experience with EMR systems. Travel to satellite locations may be required, and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; medical assistant certification preferred.
• Experience with clinical documentation and patient interactions.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and accuracy in data entry.

Responsabilités

• Assist Medical Providers with day-to-day patient care and clinic duties.
• Prepare patients for examinations and document patient history and vitals.
• Assist with procedures, injections and post-visit care as directed.
• Manage patient communications and expedite prescriptions and referrals.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms and ensure proper documentation.
