Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our Arden, NC practice. You will support providers, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (CMA preferred) and experience in a clinical setting, with familiarity in dermatology terminology and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CMA preferred.
• Experience as MA or in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Understanding of dermatology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and medical histories before examinations.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare instruments, equipment, and procedure rooms.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests and handle specimens for analysis.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and office communications.
• Educate patients about treatments, medications, and skincare.
• Keep examination rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
