QualDerm Partners in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Dermatology Medical Assistant to support physicians in examinations and dermatologic procedures. You will prepare patients, collect histories, and assist with specimen handling while maintaining accurate, confidential records.

The role requires Dermatology knowledge, strong communication, and experience in a clinical setting. This full-time position emphasizes patient care, skincare education, and efficient clinic operations in a dermatology

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Experience working as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly related to dermatology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and detailed medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and dermatologic procedures by providing necessary support and equipment.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen collection and handling.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate efficient communication within the practice.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with appropriate medical supplies.
