Golden State Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to partner with providers and guide patients through treatment pathways in a fast-growing California practice.

As a Medical Assistant you will prepare exam rooms, review patient histories in EMA, assist during Mohs and cosmetic procedures, and support front desk operations. EMR experience and patient-focused service are valued, with competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam and treatment rooms with required instruments and supplies.
• Review patient history, visit reason, medications, and notes in EMA.
• Assist dermatology providers during surgical procedures (excisions, Mohs, cosmetic).
• Support front desk: answer phones, schedule patients, assist reception as needed.
• Process prescription refills and ensure prescriptions authorization.
