Summit Health Management is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians, PAs, or NPs with patient care, room preparation, and clerical tasks. You will maintain patient flow, document vitals, allergies, and visit details in the EHR, and assist with scheduling, referrals, and order entry.

This role requires the ability to commute to satellite locations as needed and may prefer bilingual Polish speakers. A Medical Assistant program completion and HS diploma are required, with BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Bilingual in Polish preferred.
• Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepares examination rooms and escorts patients.
• Maintains efficient patient flow and visit preparation.
• Documents vital signs and allergy details in the EHR.
• Performs chart reviews and updates medication lists in the EHR.
• Assists with orders, referrals, and scheduling in PMS/EHR.
• Provides scribing services and communicates issues to supervisors.
