Forefront Dermatology is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology physicians during patient visits and procedures in a fast-paced clinic. The role involves rooming patients, documenting vitals, and assisting with post-op wound care and scribing for the dermatologist.

Qualifications

• Minimum post high-school education in a medical support field.
• Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN (Non-Certified Medical Assistants must complete Forefront Derm Tech certification).
• Willingness to travel to other clinic locations.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vital information.
• Scribe information for the dermatologist.
• Provide post-operative wound care to patients.
• Draw blood and suture removal.
• Clean and stock the exam rooms.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Assist dermatologist with procedures such as biopsies, Mohs surgery, injections, derm procedures.
