Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant to support dermatology clinics in California. You will assist with patient intake, charting, scribing, minor procedures, specimen handling, and scheduling, all while maintaining a fast-paced, patient‑focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in a medical office, experience with EMR, and strong communication, organizational, and professional presentation.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in a medical office.
• Dermatology and cosmetic experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Enter medical histories and current medications into the chart.
• Assist physician in room and scribe notes in the medical record.
• Aid in biopsies, excisions, sutures, and cosmetic procedures.
• Prepare and collect lab specimens, notify patients of results, schedule follow-ups.
• Daily cleaning and organization of exam rooms; restock supplies.
• Laboratory maintenance including cleaning and autoclaving instruments.
• Perform other back-office duties as assigned.
