Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; dermatology experience a plus.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certifications in Medical Assistance preferred where required by state law.
• Experience with EMR/EHR and clinical procedures is desirable.
• Ability to support both general patient care and dermatology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document intake in the EMR.
• Prepare procedure trays, instruments, and assist with dermatology procedures.
• Prepare and route pathology/lab specimens per insurance requirements.
• Maintain clinical equipment, supplies, and infection-control standards.
• Document patient information and scribe provider notes in the EMR.
