Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation by physician.
• Prepare frozen tissue sections as ordered.
• Slice tissue into micron-thick samples for slides.
• Perform cuts per physician specifications.
• Apply stains and coverslip as ordered.
• Label specimens and ensure proper testing readiness.
• Maintain filing system for blocks, slides and tissues.
