Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time laboratory support associate to help label specimens, enter test requests, handle patient information, and support daily operations in the WI Central Lab.

The role emphasizes strong communication, basic computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Schedule includes Monday–Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, with every third weekend and two holidays per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• No prior laboratory experience required.
• Willing to learn and be trained in a lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures specimens are properly labeled and suitable for testing.
• Resolves specimen identification and requisition problems.
• Enters and verifies test requests into the laboratory computer system.
• Answers and screens telephone calls.
• Receives, sorts, and stores specimens; assists with transport and storage.
