Job summary

Schweiger Dermatology Group in Syracuse is seeking a Part-Time Patient Coordinator/Medical Receptionist to support front office operations. You will manage calls, scheduling, and patient contacts while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Open to flexible part-time scheduling (less than 30 hours weekly) with availability Mon-Fri and rotating Saturdays within 7am-7:30pm. Prior healthcare experience is preferred, with EMR exposure and strong computer skills expected.

Qualifications

• Healthcare experience is required.
• Medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
• Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling tasks and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion.
• Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care.
• Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate steps to the best of your ability.
• Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
• Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
