Derick Dermatology Pllc in Burr Ridge, IL seeks an organized office support specialist to manage front desk tasks and patient intake. You will handle check-in/check-out, collect payment information, and enter data into the EMR system, while maintaining a courteous patient-focused environment.

The role requires attention to detail, professional communication, and the ability to sit for most of the day. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement exist within the practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Attention to detail, polished communication skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Friendly, polite, and professional demeanor.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting) 80% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Checks patients in and out accurately.
• Obtains complete and accurate clinical, demographic, and financial information during the check-in process.
• Enters data in the internal EMR system.
• Answers telephone calls according to scheduling scripts.
• Collects co-pays and deductibles.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
