Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group in Chicago is seeking a Medical Receptionist who greets patients, answers calls, collects information, and supports front-d desk operations.

You will schedule appointments, collect balances and copays, verify insurance details, and help maintain a safe, efficient patient experience while collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Summary

Medical Receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients’ medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication.
