Job summary

Anne Arundel Dermatology is seeking a part-time Front Desk/Administrative Support member to greet patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and handle check-in/check-out at our Surgery Center in Maryland.

You will work with a team of Mohs surgeons and administrative staff across multiple offices, travel between Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Prince Frederick and other MD locations as needed, and ensure HIPAA compliance and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year work experience in a medical practice preferred.
• Strong background in customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a polite, helpful manner and provide necessary instructions.
• Answer phones timely and professionally.
• Verify and update insurance coverage and patient demographics.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
• Prepare patient charts for upcoming visits and schedule appointments.
• Collect copays and balances as per daily procedures.
• Coordinate with multiple offices as needed.
