Pacific Dermatology Institute is seeking a Back Office Medical Assistant to support providers with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services at multiple clinics in Southern California. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, patient care, and efficient back-office operations.

You will work in a fast-paced team environment, handling trays, patient prep, scribing, and assistance during procedures, while maintaining HIPAA standards and clinic workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program.
• Medical Assistant: 2 years’ experience in a medical clinic setting; Dermatology experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), First Aid Certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists the Office Manager with back-office operations.
• Rooms patients and prepares for procedures.
• Maintains sterilization and prepares procedure trays (biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy).
• Scribes patient information and updates EMR with notes and Rx details.
• Administers injections, removes sutures, and assists with office-based procedures.
