Job summary

SSM Health Dermatology is seeking a Patient Scheduling Representative II to help schedule appointments across locations and support clinical staff with Epic messaging. Under supervision, you will ensure accurate patient registration and assist with check-in processes to maintain smooth clinic operations.

Minimum high school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree preferred. The role includes driving to satellite clinics as assigned and may require some evening or weekend coverage to serve

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of medical office experience.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients/families to collect registration information and screen uninsured patients.
• Update and record patient insurance information.
• Respond and send clinical messages via Epic.
• Clarify appointment details with patients.
• Correct errors in registration in the WQ system.
• Maintain individual Epic in-basket and manage cash handling.
• Process insurance updates, collect self-pay balances, and reconcile cash.
• Assist patients with registration questions and handicap access needs.
• Drive to satellite clinics as assigned.
