Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside seeks an Administrative Coordinator for the Dermatology Department to oversee calendar management, travel planning, and HR/payroll activities. This role supports the head of the department and 1–2 direct reports, ensuring accurate records and efficient office operations.

The position requires a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of related experience, with supervisory exposure preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of related administrative or business experience.
  • Some supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage faculty member's calendar and scheduling of meetings, interviews, seminars and related commitments.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel with arrangements and itineraries.
  • Prepare and track travel reimbursements and other business expenses per policies.
  • Maintain accurate CVs, publications, awards, grants and other scholarly records.
  • Handle routine correspondence and administrative requests for the department head.
  • Track external engagements and coordinate required forms, headshots and disclosures.
  • Assist with HR/payroll transactions and weekly payroll submissions.
