Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is assisting a physician-led health system in Central Illinois to recruit a Dermatologist to build a new Dermatology & Mohs Surgery service line in Mattoon. The position offers clinical autonomy and a chance to design workflows and protocols.

You will lead Mohs procedures, skin cancer management, and collaborate with PCPs, surgeons, oncologists, and APPs while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited US medical school
• ACGME Dermatology residency completed; board certified or board eligible
• Fellowship in Mohs surgery strongly preferred
• Active, unrestricted Illinois medical license or eligibility
• Active DEA and Illinois CSR licenses
• Demonstrated leadership to build a new service line

Responsibilities

• Lead operational setup and rollout of Dermatology and Mohs service line
• Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and surgical management of skin cancers
• Perform Mohs surgeries and histopathologic interpretations
• Establish clinical protocols and procure equipment
• Develop referral network with PCPs, surgeons, oncologists, and APPs
• Maintain patient-centered care with high quality and safety
