Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Specialist to lead electrical power systems for distributed energy resources. You will guide DER projects from large commercial to utility-scale, coordinating across disciplines to ensure robust designs and studies.

You will oversee steady-state and dynamic analyses, engage as a technical expert, and support interconnections at distribution and transmission scales up to 1000 MW-ac. GA/NC/PA licensure welcomed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical power systems.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit required.
• Proficiency in steady-state and dynamic power analyses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee designs and drawings, including both steady-state and dynamic power analyses.
• Provide leadership in technical and design services for renewable DER projects from large-scale commercial to utility-scale.
• Lead DER projects connecting at distribution and transmission for utility-scale up to 1000 MW-ac / 2000 MWh-dc.
• Collaborate with civil, survey, structural, mechanical and MV electrical designs and studies.
