Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Specialist to lead electrical design for renewable DER projects, spanning distribution to utility-scale and up to 1000 MW-ac. You will guide cross-disciplinary teams that include mechanical, structural, survey, and civil professionals.

The role emphasizes expertise in steady-state and dynamic power analyses and collaboration across internal disciplines to deliver integrated solutions for C&I and utility-scale installations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical power systems.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit software.
• Experience with steady-state and dynamic power analyses (ETAP, OpenDSS, PSCAD, PSS/E).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee designs/drawings and perform power analyses (steady-state and dynamic).
• Provide leadership in technical and design services for renewable DER projects from commercial to utility-scale.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, structural, and survey.
