Description
The Gaston County Office of Emergency Management provides planning, coordination, and resources to enable emergency responders and citizens to work together to mitigate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents threatening or occurring in Gaston County.

Proficiency in computer operations, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, GIS, and internet use. Ability to work in various conditions including day/night shifts, heat, cold, ice, snow, and in potentially dangerous situations.

The selected candidate must pass a drug screening prior to employment.
