Role Overview

The manager oversees specific areas of the club such as Operations, Merchandising, Member Services, or Perishables. They serve as a leader by providing direction, oversight, and ensuring company expectations are met. Responsibilities include establishing efficiencies, maintaining policies and procedures, delivering positive Member experiences, and ensuring a safe environment. The manager may function as the Manager on Duty (MOD), managing the entire club during assigned shifts.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
  1. Understanding and implementing club policies and procedures across all areas.
  2. Providing leadership and direction, assessing team performance, and developing talent.
  3. Evaluating departmental performance to maximize sales and profits.
  4. Communicating departmental activities effectively to team members and management.
  5. Performing self-audits and control procedures for compliance.
  6. Ensuring operational processes are followed, particularly in receiving, asset control, HR, and cash handling.
  7. Monitoring customer service levels to ensure positive experiences.
  8. Establishing operational efficiencies and reviewing budgets and P&L statements for profit opportunities.
  9. Maintaining the building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures.
  10. Focusing on specific areas such as Club Operations, Merchandising, Perishables, or Membership Services, with additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store operations, receiving, asset control, maintenance, HR, and cash procedures.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email).
  • High school diploma or higher; experience in wholesale, retail, grocery, or management preferred.
  • Leadership skills including managing teams, training, and results-driven communication.
  • Open shift availability.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
Job Conditions
  • Frequent movement on hard surfaces; may need to bend, handle, reach, or stoop.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds; may need assistance for heavier objects.
  • Indoor work with exposure to temperature extremes, loud noises, and cleaning agents.

Salary range starting from $69,500.00, based on various factors including location, education, experience, and qualifications.
