Job summary

ORBIS Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support the Major Program Manager and PAPMs, ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient program deliverables across divisions.

You will integrate surface sensor data from each effort, coordinate with Navy and government offices, forecast events, and prepare advance draft deliverables. Responsibilities include managing reports and databases (SharePoint, DCO, DAVE, RDAIS) and producing briefing packages and presentations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 20 years of relevant Surface Radars/EW/EOIR/Decoys/Laser software experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering/scientific/technical discipline with 15 years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in engineering/scientific/technical discipline with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Navy/DOD policy and guidance.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Major Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager, and PAPMs in executing planned and emergent tasks.
• Coordinate program support with Navy/DoD offices, field activities, and contractors.
• Forecast upcoming events, recommend COAs, and prepare advance draft deliverables.
• Support reports and databases; manage data in SharePoint, DCO, DAVE, and RDAIS.
• Develop briefings, point papers, presentations, and POM issue papers.
• Create spreadsheets, metrics, graphics and presentation material for tasking.
• Coordinate, track, and develop briefing packages for Congressional briefings and RFIs.
• Maintain current/historical data in electronic format.
• Support Security Classification Guides and information security activities.
• Review policies and guidelines and suggest process improvements; DAWIA certification review.
