Job summary

Management Concepts is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a large-scale federal Enterprise Contract Management System (CMS) training and learning-support effort in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

The role assists the Program Manager with coordination, planning, tracking, and stakeholder communication across curriculum development, training deployment, and performance support. Travel to customer meetings is required.

Qualifications

• Active PMP certification and 5+ years in program management.
• Experience with complex enterprise technology and government contracts.
• Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Background check and Public Trust eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workstream performance, schedules, costs, risks, issues, dependencies, staffing, and deliverables under the PM’s direction.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, action items, risk logs, and decision records; coordinate milestones with IT and deployment teams.
• Coordinate curriculum-development, training-delivery, train-the-trainer, and performance-support resources.
• Assist with Training Support Plan, including formal, just-in-time, refresher, and remedial training and environments.
• Coordinate routine communication with implementation partners, technical teams, SMEs, instructors, and stakeholders.
• Track progress and labor usage; prepare dashboards, status reports, and briefings for the PM.
• Support budget tracking, labor forecasts, staffing, and cost reporting.
