Job summary

Peraton seeks a Program Training Director to lead strategy, development, and delivery of mission-critical training solutions across CMS/C conciio initiatives. You will oversee curriculum development, instructional design, knowledge management, and performance metrics to ensure workforce readiness and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading training programs or instructional development.
• Experience supporting federal, state, or large public sector programs.
• Strong understanding of adult learning, curriculum design, and training technologies.
• Proven ability to lead teams and scale training operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee a programwide training strategy aligned to contractual requirements and mission outcomes.
• Lead design, delivery, and sustainment of curricula, learning pathways, and workforce development plans.
• Manage training programs for Eligibility Support Workers to ensure accurate and customer-focused support.
• Create consumer education materials explaining eligibility processes and services.
• Identify skill gaps and emerging needs with program managers and customer representatives.
• Establish standardized training processes, governance, and documentation.
• Implement instructor-led, virtual, blended, and self-paced delivery methods.
• Track training performance metrics, certification compliance, and workforce readiness.
• Keep training content current with policy updates and system enhancements.
• Lead a multidisciplinary training staff of instructional designers, trainers, and SMEs.
• Support proposal efforts and contract modifications related to training scope.
