Job summary

Lynker is seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager to provide senior oversight of acquisition support, procurement tracking, and government property management for the NOAA/NESDIS program office. The role requires coordinating with CORs, Project Leads, and leadership to ensure compliant hardware/software lifecycle planning and budget control.

The position is on-site in Suitland, MD and contingent upon contract award.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business/related field and 5–10 years in program/contract operations, acquisition support, or government property management.

Responsibilities

Lead hardware/software acquisitions planning including cost estimates and spending profiles.
Oversee contract budget tracking and reporting to CORs and program leadership.
Review technical acquisition documentation (PWS, SOW, IGCE, Section 508, IT Security checklists).
Manage onboarding/offboarding for contractors, badging, office space, and government property.
Maintain government property accountability under FAR 52.245-1 and FAR Subpart 45.5, including SUNFLOWER records.
Coordinate periodic inventories and BOR packages; track items for lost or stolen property.
Oversee CMMS inventory accuracy for spare parts and supplies.
Maintain SOPs for procurement and property management and support leadership presentations.
