Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Deputy for Technical Services to support a major program and construction management team delivering a large, complex industrial infrastructure project. The deputy will lead engineering, design management, and technical support throughout design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.

This 4–5 year contract is based near Little Rock, Arkansas. The first year allows remote work; afterward, relocation or residence within commuting distance is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 15+ years in engineering, engineering management, construction management, or related field.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering or design-management teams on large industrial or government programs.
• Proven track record overseeing design through procurement, construction, commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Experience resolving complex design, construction, and interface issues while ensuring compliance with codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering, design-management, and technical-support activities across the program.
• Establish engineering-management procedures, technical-review workflows, responsibilities, priorities, and performance expectations.
• Direct engineering managers, discipline leads, engineering technicians, consultants, and other assigned technical personnel.
• Coordinate multiple engineering disciplines to ensure complete, constructible, and compliant designs.
