Qualifications

  • Knowledge of acquisition and integration concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong networking with senior business leaders and relationship-building ability.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills; strong project/time management and prioritization abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and integration.
  • Support end-to-end acquisition processes and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Identify acquisition targets and research opportunities across geographies and practices.
  • Support and project manage due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, risk assessment, and negotiation support.
  • Lead business case development and manage internal approval processes.
  • Assist with post-acquisition integration, including integration planning and cultural alignment.
  • Coach and guide senior staff on building relationships with potential targets.
  • Create and provide regular updates for executive SteerCo.
  • Develop, own, and maintain M&A materials and templates, including NDAs, business cases, fact sheets, information requests, IOIs, LOIs, transaction agreements, integration plans, and scorecards.
  • Support the Chief Growth Officer in guiding inorganic growth agenda.
  • Work closely with corporate development, finance, legal, executive, and operations teams

Job description

Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and integration

Create and provide regular updates for OWA/IAM executive SteerCo
Develop, own, and maintain M&A materials and templates, including NDAs, business cases, fact sheets, information requests, IOIs, LOIs, transaction agreements, integration plans, and scorecards
Support the Chief Growth Officer in guiding and facilitating the Oliver Wyman Actuarial and Insurance & Asset Management inorganic growth agenda
Work closely with corporate development, finance, legal, executive, and operations teams

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree and 8+ years experience in M&A, Corporate Development or similar role
  • Experience working in professional services or financial services or multi-national corporate environment desirable
  • Knowledge of acquisition and integration concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Knowledge of benefit and compensation programs and related compliance matters
  • Demonstrated ability to network with senior business leaders and build strong relationships
