Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior IT due diligence leader to direct enterprise technology assessments for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments. You will drive integration and separation roadmaps, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions and value realization.

You will present risk, cost estimates, and execution plans to executives, mentor junior team members, and shape technology governance across programs spanning SAP, MES, cloud, and Microsoft ecosystems.

Qualifications

Experience leading enterprise-scale technology initiatives involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, or large-scale business transformations.
Experience conducting IT due diligence assessments and developing integration or separation strategies.
Knowledge of Transition Service Agreements, carve-outs, Day 1 readiness planning, and post-merger integration methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead GOSC IT due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and strategic investments
Assess applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, data architecture, IT operations, vendor contracts, and technology risks
Present technology findings, risk assessments, cost estimates, integration strategies, and separation recommendations to executive leadership and transaction stakeholders
Define and lead GOSC IT integration and separation roadmaps, including Day 1 readiness, TSA planning, transition execution, and long‑term transformation
Represent GOSC IT on cross‑functional transaction teams with Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, HR, Quality, Regulatory, and business leadership
Identify synergy opportunities, operational efficiencies, technology rationalization initiatives, and value creation opportunities
Lead workstreams for system migrations, application consolidations, infrastructure integrations, and data transitions
Establish governance processes, milestones, risk mitigation plans, and executive reporting for transaction‑related technology programs
Improve M&A methodologies, playbooks, due diligence frameworks, and integration practices
Mentor Business Analysts, project managers, and transaction team members
Identify emerging risks, business capabilities, and opportunities affecting enterprise technology strategy
Partner with global stakeholders and support due diligence, integration planning workshops, and post‑close execution initiatives

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent and 12+ years of experience, OR bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, OR advanced degree and 8+ years of experience
Experience leading enterprise‑scale technology initiatives involving mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, integrations, or large‑scale business transformations
Experience conducting IT due diligence assessments and developing integration or separation strategies
Experience across enterprise applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, data management, and vendor management
Ability to communicate complex technical and business issues to executive stakeholders
10+ years of experience supporting technology integration, transformation, or M&A initiatives within a multinational organization
Experience partnering with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, and executive leadership teams during transactions
Knowledge of Transition Service Agreements, carve‑outs, Day 1 readiness planning, and post‑merger integration methodologies
Experience leading global programs involving multiple business functions and geographic regions
Familiarity with SAP, MES, Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives
Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Change Management, or equivalent
Experience within regulated industries such as healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, or manufacturing
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree satisfying 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
Roles requiring U.S. work authorization must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment, unless eligible for sponsorship under the stated policy
