Job summary

The Foundation is seeking a Deputy Director, TB Delivery to support the HIV & TB Delivery and Program Strategy teams. You will manage a growing portfolio, integrate with technical colleagues, and strengthen partnerships with global health institutions to meet strategic objectives.

Travel up to 30% domestically and internationally is expected. You will design and guide investment plans, oversee grants and contracts, and mentor colleagues in the delivery strategy.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree, PhD preferably in statistics, data science or epidemiology with at least 10 years of field experience.
• Experience leading and managing and creating a conducive environment for others in the delivery team to learn and grow.
• Experience working in diverse cultural settings.
• Demonstrated experience in delivery value through the utilization quantitative and qualitive data for design and implementation of programs.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistics, modelling, machine learning, data analysis and interpretation of data for innovative programming.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for innovations in designing and implementing strategies to assist our focus countries to reduce TB incidence and mortality.
• Lead partnerships with internal and external partners and grantees to advance the foundation’s priorities for TB.
• Consult with grantees and other partners to maximize the impact of projects and ensure optimal learning.
• Represent the foundation with stakeholders who may include public and private entities, partner organizations, other funders, universities, think tanks and government agencies.
