Job summary

The Foundation in Seattle is seeking a Senior Strategy Officer to partner with the Deputy Director and Communications Leadership Team. You will shape and execute division strategy, support annual planning, and coordinate across global offices to advance three key goals: maternal/child health, infectious disease elimination, and poverty reduction.

You will lead high‑impact projects, develop materials, and manage portfolios while collaborating with Directors and Deputies to deliver results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in formal strategy development roles.
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in management consulting, strategy, or marketing strategy.
• Strong ability to coalesce groups around goals and drive work forward.
• Experience leading projects in a premier strategy context is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scope, lead, and execute strategy development for discrete projects and broader areas.
• Translate strategy into clear, actionable plans with defined accountability.
• Lead iterative strategy improvements based on execution learnings.
• Identify analyses and outline tradeoffs to drive decisions.
• Serve as strategic advisor to communications leaders and teams.
• Develop compelling presentation materials, memos, and frameworks.
• Partner on operational model execution and process improvements.
• Collaborate on cross‑cutting initiatives (e.g., AI) and special projects.
• Provide ad hoc slide development for CCO priorities.
