Job summary

Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation seeks a Deputy Director, TB Delivery, to support the Director, HIV & TB Delivery in achieving impact goals within the Global Health division in Seattle, WA. You will manage a growing portfolio of investments in HIV & TB delivery, strengthen partnerships with global health institutions, and guide program strategy and budgets.

The role emphasizes leadership, advanced analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree, PhD preferably in statistics, data science or epidemiology with at least 10 years of field experience.
• Experience leading and managing and creating a conducive environment for others in the delivery team to learn and grow.
• Experience working in diverse cultural settings.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement investments and analytics to reduce TB incidence and mortality.
• Lead partnerships with internal and external partners and grantees to advance TB priorities.
• Plan and manage annual and multiyear investment plans and budgets; develop strategies under leadership.
