Blue Origin is seeking a Deputy Director GS2 Gen 1.X Upgrades for New Glenn to lead programmatic health, strategy translation, and cross-functional execution. You will partner with senior leadership to ensure schedule adherence, budget control, and risk mitigation across design, verification, and production phases.

The role requires 12+ years in engineering or technical program management, strong communication, and a proven track record in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, with a preference

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or Aerospace is preferred.
• MBA or MS in Engineering Management, or comparable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmatic execution across design engineering, qualification, verification, test, and rate production.
• Translate strategy into executable plans and monitor performance.
• Identify risks, develop mitigations, and drive issue resolution.
