Blue Origin seeks a Deputy Director for GS2 Gen 1.X Upgrades on the New Glenn program. This senior role combines programmatic leadership with hands-on IC contributions to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery and alignment with program priorities.

You will connect technical teams with program leadership, translate strategy into executable plans, and drive risk management, mitigation, and issue resolution across a complex aerospace development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Engineering or a relevant technical field is required.
• 12+ years of engineering or technical program management experience are expected.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior IC driving programmatic execution in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on with project and performance management, integrated master scheduling, and budget management.
• Strong ability to synthesize complex technical information and communicate across all levels.
• Proven track record of risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Deputy Director role for GS2 Gen 1.X Upgrades on New Glenn, partnering with the Director to drive execution across design, qualification, verification, test, and rate production.
• Translate strategy into executable program plans, track performance, and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Act as a trusted advisor and force multiplier for the Director by owning programmatic processes and coordination efforts.
