Job summary

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities is seeking an Assistant Deputy Director to lead statewide Home and Community Based Services waivers, coordinate operations across divisions, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations. You will advise on policy matters and oversee waiver policy and project management.

The role requires strategic planning, stakeholder engagement with state and local agencies, and collaboration to align Medicaid division work with agency goals.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, coordinates, manages, plans and directs department operations of statewide Home and Community Based Waiver programs.
• Assists Deputy Director to define strategic goals and ensure HCBS Waiver programs are in the agency plan.
• Represents the department on Medicaid and Waiver issues and maintains stakeholder relationships.
• Advises on HCBS Medicaid issues and policy concerns.
• Supervises Waiver Policy and Project Management.
