Job summary

Community Forward SF is seeking a Deputy Director of Subsidy Services to oversee housing subsidy operations, supervise Case Managers and a Housing Navigator, and coordinate with landlords and city partners. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory compliance, and commitment to equity.

The position reports to the Director of Subsidy Services and manages contracts and budgets to ensure timely housing subsidies and strong program performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a human services field or equivalent in education and work experience.
• Experience in managerial oversight and supervision.
• Knowledge of homelessness, trauma, DV/IPV, HIV/AIDS, SUD and recovery.
• Familiarity with Housing First and Fair Housing principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of ETH subsidy services under the Director of Subsidy Services.
• Complete reports and audits as required by stakeholders.
• Ensure contract deliverables are met.
• Manage the program budget and ensure timely subsidy payments.
• Supervise relationships with landlords to maintain available units.
